Produced from vignes ranging from 50-90 years old, something quite rare in Sancerre, which historically focuses on the higher volume of production which comes from youthful vines r ather than the smaller, more concentrated productions grown from vieilles vignes or "old vines." Elegant and outstanding, this is an absolutely incredible Sancerre. For over 30 years, Vincent Gaudry has been crafting some of the best Sauvignon Blanc in the Loire Valley. The domaine was established by his grandfather, before Vincent joined in 1991 at the ripe age of 16. Vincent quickly changed the vineyard to organic in 1995, before going a step further and becoming the first producer in Sancerre to obtaining biodynamic certification from Demeter in 2004. Gaudry wines are in tune with the elements, exuding a character profoundly connected to the land and life found in the region.
