Sanddorn — sea buckthorn — is a stubborn plant with a brilliant berry: bright orange, gently tart, full of character. It grows in gravel and wind where little else bothers, which m akes it a natural fit for a gin from here. The berry rounds out the juniper with a fresh, fruity edge that never turns sweet.
