Early work from Sandra Sa – one of the strongest female soul artists to emerge from the Brazilian scene at the start of the 80s – working here on a classic set that's got a groove that's very similar to American R&B work of the time! Tim Maia joins Sandra for a bit on the set – and his presence is almost a nod to the strength of her music – as Sa takes on much of the same American soul-styled modes that Tim first unfurled in the 70s – updated nicely here with a bit of boogie and some other 80s soul-styled modes!
