The HOKEMA Sansula Basic is a further developed form of the Kalimba and is made by hand in Germany from European beech. Tropical wood is not used and the surfaces are treated with vegetable linseed oil. The instrument is packaged and shipped completely free of plastic, making it particularly environmentally friendly. The Sansula Basic is tuned in A minor and has additional notes of B and F, with the A used twice to create a strong overtone. This creates an incomparable, spherical sound that touches the listener.
