Santee's mother sold her after her boyfriend said that he wanted her gone. Santee's trafficker took her to a rock quarry. She delivered water to the other workers, and she was thre atened with beatings if she spilled or took too long. For more than 12 hours a day Santee worked carrying water. She was rescued by our field team, and today she lives safe and sound at The Sylom Children's Home. She has started school, and she loves story books.
