Santorini is a picture-perfect Greek island, which I long to visit. Sometimes creating Cityscapes of such beautiful places makes my heart ache and my feet itch. I love discovering the beauty and character of a place but am often left with a sense of injustice. It's like smelling rich, luxurious, dark chocolate but never getting to eat it. Drawing Santorini was like completing a jigsaw puzzle, I loved creating the maze of dome topped basilicas and steep stepped passageways that created an oasis in a deep blue sea on which bobbed fishing boats and pleasure cruises.
