Vibraphone Solo , composed in August 2000 by David Saperstein, is dedicated and was premiered by Peter Jarvis at William Paterson University. The opening section features 3 specifi c pitches - C, B, and G sounded repeatedly. The second section is more fluid, using the same notes. The 3rd section is very free flowing using much rubato.
