Saponaria ocymoides is an amazing evergreen groundcover with tiny button-sized evergreen leaves that adorn the 3' wide x 8" tall patch. Saponaria ocymoides starts flowering for us in mid-April with a truly stunning show of small pink flowers that continues through June. The key to success with Saponaria ocymoides is well-drained soil and cooler night temperatures.
