“Sapphic Seas” is a unique handmade linocut print portraying two mermaid lovers. Created by carving a linoleum block—either Japanese or battleship—this design is inked with oil-bas ed paints and printed using an etching press onto heavyweight 280 gsm premium printmaking paper. Composed of 60% cotton, acid-free, and archival quality, the paper ensures excellent longevity. The traditional linocut technique leaves subtle, intentional “chatter” marks, adding character to each print. Delivered unframed and signed, it is shipped in eco-friendly packaging.
