Knitting starts by casting on each shoulder and working the shoulder and neck shaping, before joining to create the front and back sections. After working the armhole shaping, the front and back are joined and the rest of the body will be worked in the round. Then the sleeves are picked up, shaped with short rows, and knit in the round, and the garment is finished with a clean neck edging. This design’s well-thought-out construction is as practical as it is beautiful, with the pattern additionally including optional chest shaping and accompanying charts in four cup sizes. Made using Meadow, a textured blend of baby llama, silk, linen, and Merino wool, this heavy lace-weight yarn was chosen for this design for its exceptionally light and crisp qualities.
