A playful, sustainable take on the classic paper chain – reimagined in rescued sari fabric and made to last far beyond one celebration. Each chain is handmade from strips of upcycled sari, linked together to create a colourful, tactile garland full of movement and personality. Every chain is completely one of a kind. The colours and prints are determined by the saris available at the time of making, meaning no repeats and no perfect matches – just joyful, expressive combinations that feel alive in a space. Priya, owner and founder of Pri Pri, grew up in London but spent summers visiting her Grandmother in India, who taught her to sew. Her company now make a range of homewares and accessories, all from recycled saris, with the aim of reducing waste in their own production and for their customers, with pieces made to last. ‘...our clothes are a beautiful blend of traditional Indian fabrics and western design.. stitching together the two cultures that have made me.’ - Priya Dimensions: 160 cm long
