Sashiko pre-printed samplers have wash-out stitching lines. Do not pre-wash.100% cotton. Made in Japan. Finished size approximately 12" x "12" The design is printed on one half of the sampler. The other half of the sampler has instructions which will wash out. You can stitch through both layers for a little heavier fabric if using it for a quilt square or you can stitch through a single layer and add your own backing. In Japan, the samplers are stitched through both layers, hemmed and use for tea towels or table decorations. Show more
