Design: Two handle instrument features three - 3½ flat treatment surfaces that are wider than SASTM #1-#6 instruments for more evaluation and treatment pressure, but still produce 2 ninety-degree edges per treatment surface. Where each surface comes together, a point is formed for treatment of deeper soft tissue areas. This instrument can be used at a 45 or a 90-degree angle. Use: Large muscle groups and with large framed patients or athletes. Note: This instrument can be used single handed like SASTM#4, #5 and #6 instruments. SASTM Instrument Comparison: SASTM #7 instrument produces more treatment pressure than the SASTM #5 instruments due to the double handle.
