Combining the skills from her degree with her life-long love of sewing, she started selling a collection of bags at the neighborhood coffee shop. Within a few years, Rachel's husband Bo was able to quit his job and help with production as well. Elementality was their first retail stockist in Asheville and they eventually relocated their studio here, moving from their native Texas to our Blue Ridge Mountains! They are both avid hikers and foodies, so Asheville is definitely a perfect fit. Rachel combines her own hand-printed textiles with canvas, waxed canvas, & high grade hardware to create her trademark bags.
