Duchesse satin - a soft and silky heavy satin, usually used for evening wear but makes an especially lustrous scrunchie. All scrunchies come with a choice of size and hold, to suit different types of hair Sizes: XL is 14 - 15 cm ; Regular is 12 - 13 cm Hold: Can be either a very secure hold, which is made with wide elastic (2cm), or a looser hold, which is made with thinner elastic (1 cm). Or if you would like it very thin and stretchy add a note to your order asking for 5 mm elastic. The secure hold, made with wide 2 cm elastic, generally suits normal to thick hair. It holds the hair very securely. If you have thinner hair or exceptionally thick hair, or if you prefer a softer tumbled-down look, you may find that the looser hold, made with thin, 1 cm elastic, works better for you.
