Remove your lace from the water and wrap up or roll in a towel. Don’t wring or twist your work, simply role up without adding any friction, and then apply pressure to the rolled lace while enveloped by the towel. Roughly align the cloth on a flat surface that you will be able to put pins into. When you go to pin, put the pin in at an angle away from the work. Place a T pin at the tip of every point.
