The 500CJ set is a combination of New Cristal clear nylon trebles and Corum basses. Corum bass strings are more flexible than the other Savarez basses, while their tension is the s ame. They have a very quick response which is generally obtained with more taut strings. Consequently they offer tremendously increased sound modulation and expressive possibilities.
