Built using STARVIS II technology, the SC715C benefits from advanced sensor architecture and image processing algorithms that significantly improve sensitivity while suppressing background noise. This makes it particularly effective for high-contrast planetary imaging and faint deep-sky targets. A high-speed USB 3.0 interface enables data transfer rates of up to 45.5 frames per second at full resolution, ideal for planetary lucky imaging. The integrated ST-4 guide port allows direct connection to an equatorial mount for real-time guiding corrections, reducing drift and vibration. To ensure stable performance during high-speed capture, the SC715C features a 512 MB DDR3 image buffer.
