This is the ideal class for anyone with barista experience who wants to improve the quality of their preparations and learn more complex skills behind the bar. We'll explore the impacts that coffee's origin, variety, and processing methods have on its flavor. You'll learn: In depth techniques for dialing in espresso recipes Drink construction and technique Latte art Workflow for maximum efficiency Sensory aspects of espresso extraction Key elements of health and safety Basic business practices Intermediate Level (Two-Day Course). This intermediate level course is for experienced baristas. The SCA Foundations course is highly recommended, but not required, to enroll in the Intermediate course. **Please note that our scheduling function shows this class as 8 hours in duration (one day). We will actually meet for 8 hours each day, for two consecutive days (breaking for lunch from 12-1 PM).
