When the air is cold and rains drench the soil, it is said he emerges from the fog to deliver us one of his many weapons of shred. On this day, he bore us a mighty axe! A black stallion! Just kidding! Dave is still pretty dope though. Hand built by Dave Johnson right here in Nashville, Scale Model Guitars have produced some amazing instruments and this one is certainly up to their high standard. Fashioned in his signature double cut body shape, this black beauty is constructed of solid mahogany, finished in nitro, and complemented by a comfy mahogany neck with a 12" radius ebony fretboard featuring pearl split parallelogram inlays. She's loaded. upwith a pair of Lollar Imperial humbuckers, and weighs in at a manageable 7.42lbs. This sweet SMG is brand new and ready to rip. Our expert luthiers have given it the seal of approval and a clean bill of health, and assured that it will land in your hands with easy action, spot-on intonation, level frets, and zero buzz.
