This is Scale Structures 1102 Boiler house with interior details. Super kit. This kit represents a steam boiler house often used by railroads, mining or industrial companies in their yards to supply steam to the stationary steam engines that would power the many tools or machinery that they use. Nearby would be a machine shop, or factory using this power. These are fast disappearing today as many railroads and industries remove them for lack of use and/or taxes caused by them. East Broad Top Railroad volunteers have recently completed restoration of a boiler house with similar stacks.This kit consists of over 40 small hand cast pewter detail parts, scale lumber, embossed roofing paper, die cut walls, large smoke stacks, and much more!
