This piece is made from Baltic Birch plywood, so it can be enjoyed indoors or in a protected outdoor space. If you're planning to hang yours outside, I recommend using exterior-rated paint and applying a good exterior clear coat after painting. Be sure to seal all surfaces and edges, especially the exposed plywood edges, to help protect it from moisture. For the longest life, keep it somewhere protected from prolonged rain, standing water, and constant direct weather exposure. Think covered porch, sheltered entryway, or under an awning rather than out in the elements. Wood is still wood, after all. Give it a little protection and it'll be much happier.
