This scarf measures 82.5 by 26.8 inches. For over 500 years, artisans in the Kashmir Valley have been weaving pashmina by hand, preserving a tradition of remarkable care. An ultra- refined form of cashmere, pashmina is both rare and precious. True pashmina comes from the Changthangi goat, a Himalayan breed native to Ladakh in northern India.
