Scarlet Monkeyflower (Erythranthe cardinalis) is a herbaceous perennial that blooms an unmistakable red or orange flower in the Fall, Spring and Summer. They won't grow very tall, only about 2-3 feet, but can spread slightly into the landscape. E. cardinalis needs wet conditions in order to thrive which usually means partial shade, but they can withstand full sun.
