Deciduous vine for a shady site. 'Moonlight' features large, pale, blue-green, heart-shaped leaves with a silver sheen and impressed reddish veining. Large, 8-10 inch diameter, fra grant white lace-cap flowers bloom for over a month in summer. With age it becomes ever more floriferous — have patience for ample rewards. This vine needs no support as it has clinging rootlets, ideal for climbing rock walls or tree trunks. It can also be a charming groundcover. In our area with little to no summer rain, this vine grows best in dappled shade sites, but tolerates full to part sun in other, more moist situations.
