Grape varieties: Field Blend Alcohol: 12,5% Region: Weinviertel, Niederösterreich Winemaker: Markus Sonntag The new release of Markus' Rosé is, as always, a field blend, primarily made from Zweigelt and Blauer Portugieser, mostly from 2022 with a small addition of 2023. The wine shows more fruit than in the past, with red berries, a hint of creaminess, and its signature long, mineral finish. This is a gastronomic Rosé, where the fruit takes a backseat to greater complexity and minerality. Best enjoyed not too cold, at around 12°C, and pairs beautifully with red spreads, lightly spiced dishes, or bold soft cheeses. Show more
