I'm on a quiet quest to find the perfect shape for a minimalist card holder. This version has softer, more fluid lines, and the pockets are slightly more generous—each one fits two cards comfortably, for a total of six. Still snug enough to hold everything securely. Contrasting stitching on the black side uses thick waxed thread at a 5mm pitch, giving it a rugged edge. It complements the tough yet flexible white horse culatta on the back and the thinner, durable full-grain calf leather on the front. Both leathers come from tanneries in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany. White leather: dirty white horse culatta, full-grain side, aluminium aldehyde tanned for its unique look. Black leather: Italian vacchetta, full-grain veg tan calf shoulder from La Perla Azzura. Both leathers will develop patina over time. This is a prototype—or maybe a release candidate. There are a few light scratches, but they only add to the story. Make it yours and see how you age together and develop character.
