It is the only segmented ring light on the market featuring alternating white-light and UV LEDs across eight illumination segments. This innovative design ensures that samples are illuminated from the same angle in both white-light and UV modes, enabling more accurate image comparison, improved reproducibility, and consistent documentation. Under white-light illumination, samples are displayed in their natural colors with excellent contrast and uniformity. Switching to UV illumination reveals fluorescent features and details that are otherwise invisible, making it ideal for applications requiring fluorescence-based inspection and analysis. The SCHOTT MC 1100 Controller allows users to quickly and easily switch between illumination modes.
