reduction linoleum cut print with hand-painted details This is the first Hohenschuh print ever. It’s a linoleum print with hand-painted gouache accents. It iconically references th e Hohenschuh name. Hohenschuh is German for High Shoe. I have grown to love my unusual last name, which wasn't always the case (I had trouble spelling it when I was young, and others had trouble pronouncing it). When we had to do a book report on our heritage, I learned of its meaning.
