Hair Care Up to 50% as a primary surfactant in Syndet Shampoo Bars. For liquid shampoos, a 3 Beta T to 1 SCI ratio is suggested. Other 1% to 50%. Heat stable. Melt chips with a secondary surfactant like Beta T in a double boiler over low heat, stirring frequently. We found it can take some time to melt the chips as they are quite thick. SCI Solid Surfactant can be ground in a coffee grinder to break up the chips and make them easier to melt.
