From the Science Selective Range, this bathing sand is suitable for all breeds of small animals including chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters, and degus. Recommended by veterinarians, it features an optimum particle size to promote a premium coat condition while supporting healthy skin. Naturally hygienic and absorbent, the super-soft texture is gentle on skin and paws, and the resealable pack helps retain freshness and keep out unwanted moisture. Supplied in a 1kg bag. Instructions for Use: Provide approximately 2.5cm (1") of bathing sand in a high-sided tray. Chinchillas enjoy daily sand baths, while hamsters, gerbils, and degus prefer 2–3 times per week. Allow your pet to bathe for 10–20 minutes to avoid dry skin. Remove soiled sand immediately and replace it at least once a week. Only suitable for adult pets.
