Scindapsus, pictus 'exotica' is a vigorous vining vining plant with heart shaped velvety leaves speckled with silvery, reflective variegation. Oddly enough, it's often called Satin Pothos, Silver Pothos, or Philodendron Silver. Despite its similarities to pothos and vining philodendrons, 'Exotica' is a unique plant species in its own right. Care To thrive, it requires six to eight hours of bright, indirect sunlight, well-draining soil that retains some moisture, and monthly fertilization during its growing season, along with temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Growth Habit This cultivar shows more intense variegation than the standard type, covering anywhere from 60-90% of the leaf. Eventually, its vines grow quite long, making it a great choice for hanging planters. It rarely blooms indoors.
