Maressa Sconce Design InspirationThe Maressa Sconce by Ironware International draws inspiration from heraldic European metalwork, combining a hand-forged iron scroll frame with a beautifully detailed perforated tôle diffuser. Its sculptural shield and intricate quatrefoil pattern filter the light into a warm, intimate glow, casting subtle shadows and transforming the sconce into a decorative architectural element — equally suited to entryways, hallways, dining rooms, libraries, and thoughtfully layered interiors. CraftsmanshipEach Maressa Sconce is individually hand-forged by blacksmiths and finished by hand at Ironware International's studio in Nashville, Tennessee. The forged iron frame showcases the character and subtle variation that only traditional metalworking can achieve. The sconce is available in two sizes. The Standard size (11.5"H x 7"W x 4"D) uses one 60-watt max candelabra bulb with a smooth ivory resin candle sleeve; the Large size (20"H x 12"W x 6.25"D) uses one 100-watt max E26 standard medium base bulb. The perforated tôle diffuser is shown in Antique Gold, contrasting beautifully with the Traditional Brown forged iron frame. A wide range of custom finish combinations is available, including Antique Silver, Baroque Gold, Chalk White, Pewter, Verdigris, and various gold and copper metal leaf finishes, allowing each fixture to be tailored to your interior.
