Scones are sweet or savoury, perfect with coffee or tea, welcome at brunch, snack time, bake sales, any holiday events and whenever muffins and coffee are appropriate (all the time!) Join Chef Lisa in this hands-on class to make uniquely crisp and buttery scones. You will learn how to incorporate sweet and savoury ingredients, knead perfectly so as not to toughen the dough, then bake to perfection. You also learn to create a compound butter and fruit spread to serve alongside the scones. Everyone will go home with about half dozen freshly baked scones. In this class you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors. You will work with other students in groups of 4, sharing workstations and equipment. Classes are 2-3 hours, unless otherwise noted above Hands-on classes are limited to 12 students.
