This was inspired - according to drink creator Marshall Davis - by a smoked pineapple flan dessert! Smoky, creamy and tropical, the Scorpion Reef is a stellar nouveau tiki cocktail . Ingredients: ¾ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup 1 oz mezcal 1 oz aged rum 1 oz pineapple juice ¾ oz lemon juice 2 dashes chocolate bitters 5 dashes aromatic bitters Instructions: Add all ingredients except aromatic bitters to a mixing glass with crushed ice Stir 20 seconds and strain into a chilled snifter glass Dash aromatic bitters on top Garnish with five-spice powder Glass: snifter Garnish: five-spice powder Photo: Dustin Popp Show more
