Scotch XSII - 1993 - EU "Scotch / 3M were pioneers in tape. Their Reel To Reel tape was used in many a studio. Their cassettes were around from the early days too. Then they realized that it was more economical to just re-brand their cassettes and have them made by someone else (...) this isn't a Scotch made cassette. From what we can tell, it was made by SKC. That's not a bad thing, SKC has made many great cassettes, even for the likes of Denon. This is a good looking cassette, that responds well to a bit of negative bias, to give great recordings (...)."
