Artist Profile Noel Scott Engel aka Scott Walker was an American-born British singer-songwriter, composer and record producer born 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio. His first band was The Walker Brothers along with John Maus and Gary Leeds, and was noted for his distinctive baritone voice on their many hit singles. After leaving the Walker Brothers Scott followed his own unorthodox career path that has taken him from 1960s pop icon to 21st-century avant-garde musician. Between 1967-1969 he recorded a series of classic albums: Scott, Scott 2, Scott 3 and Scott 4. Other outstanding albums include Climate of Hunter, Tilt and The Drift.
