Scotty, however, had different plans. He managed to bust through the corral and make the great escape! Soon after, he settled down with a young mare M61 "Scotty's Girl" and managed to keep himself out of trouble. He lived a long, healthy life and passed away due to natural causes around the ripe old age of 24.
