Acrylic painting on custom made wooden panel (530mm x 530mm x 18mm) The first piece in my PIXELS collection, ‘Screamadelica’ is a reimagining of one of the most iconic album covers of the 90’s. Using 625 wooden discs mind numbingly stuck onto a thick MDF board, I have taken something truly iconic in it’s symbolism and recognisability and (I reckon) made it better. My PIXELS pieces aim to challenge our perception of nostalgia whilst having a pop at the shite realisation that album art holds a less important role in today’s music industry.
