Placing your car on a diet requires dedication...and money! The surest and easiest way is by replacing your car's turnbuckles, axles, transmission parts, outdrives, etc. with titanium replacements. When the major components are done, there is one more place to efficiently reduce weight: replace motor assembly screws. These screws fit all of the R5, R6, & R7 motors and others as noted below. Price does not include any other motor component: SCREWS ONLY! The M2.5x6mm flat head screws retains the sensor board to the Endcap (item #2 in diagram) on the back end of the motor. Stock screws are black in color. Use on R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, Talon series. The M2.5x3mm screws are used to hold the endbell to the can. The four stock screws are black in color. They have long lead times as this very short length are difficult to manufacture. Use on R5, R6, R7 series. For the screw sized for use on R3, R4, Talon series motors click HERE. On my motors there are a total of seven screws to get that weight to the minimum. Titanium is about 32% lighter than steel for the same strength and does not affect the magnetic field in a way we can measure. Replacing all seven screws will reduce overall motor weight (and your car) about another 2.10 grams.
