Scribbled Anthias (Pseudanthias bimaculatus) A beautifully coloured and active reef fish, the Scribbled Anthias is admired for its vibrant pink, orange, and yellow hues, often accented by delicate blue facial markings. Constantly swimming in the water column, this elegant species adds colour, movement, and natural shoaling behaviour to larger reef aquariums. Compatibility:Peaceful. Best kept with other peaceful to moderately active species such as clownfish, gobies, blennies, wrasses, dwarf angelfish, and tangs. Ideally maintained as a harem consisting of one male and several females in suitably sized aquariums. Avoid aggressive tankmates that may intimidate them. Reef Compatibility:Reef-safe. Completely safe with corals and ornamental invertebrates, making it an excellent choice for mixed reef aquariums. Diet:Planktivore – requires a varied diet of small meaty foods including mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, cyclops, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine pellets. Feed 2–4 small meals daily to support its high metabolism and maintain vibrant colouration.
