In celebration of Scriptum's continued collaboration with the world of Italian opera, we have designed a range of leather bookmarks, each decorated with an excerpt from some of our most cherished arias. These arias have been carefully paired with a colourful leather, embossed in gold foil, and encased within ornate, Scriptum motif. 'Che gelida manina' from Puccini's La Bohème: "Che gelida manina se la lasci riscaldar Cercar che giova?" What a cold little hand, let me warm it for you.. What's the use of looking? 'Un bel dì, vedremo' from Puccini's Madama Butterfly: "Tieni la tua paura io con sicura fede lo aspetto" Hold on to your fear, I await him in sure faith. 'Nessun Dorma' from Puccini's Turandot: "All'alba, vincerò! Vincerò! Vincerò!" At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win! 'Vissi d'arte' from Puccini's Tosca: "Vissi d'arte, vissi d'amore non feci mai male ad anima viva!" I lived for art, I lived for love, I never harmed a living soul! 'Ebben? Ne andrò lontana' from Catalani's La Wally: "Là, fra la neve bianca, ne andrò, ne andrò sola e Iontana! E fra le nubi d'ôr!" There, amidst the white snow, I will go. I will go alone and far away.
