Binding rubbed and scuffed. Front board detached, and the rear board attached with rubbing along joint and cracked hinge. Shelf and edge wear. Ink inscription, "J.H,B." to fore-edge. Page edges toned. Ffep re-attached to front board. Ink ownership inscriptions to front and rear blanks. Tears, wormholing, and crude repairs to fold-out frontispiece. Tear with small loss and small holes to front blank. Text block fairly clean with light toning, foxing, and a small number of marks. Small tear with loss to rear blank. Appears to be slightly incomplete as the volume one index at the end of the text block shows a poem staring on pp.207, which is not present here. The collation shows that this book likely includes volumes one and two, even though the title page for volume one is present, and both volumes appear to be slightly incomplete.
