This is one of our favorite skullcaps for the rock garden or a well drained site in the border. From the basal rosette emerges a 15" tall clump of 1" long linear green leaves on br anched stems. The clump is topped in summer with spikes of dark lavender flowers that resemble a stem full of "Barney the Dinosaur" heads.
