Things you'll need:• A deck to grip [recommended is any deck from the HAPPY line-up 😎]• The griptape • A soft mat to prevent scratching your new deck on the bottomside• A wheel-roller or wheel only works [if you do wheel only think about getting any wheel off the @la_paulade line-up, it will work best. Trust me ]• A steel file your dad doesn't plan to use anymore• A sharp box cutter knife1.: Place your deck on your soft mat.2.: Get off a few centimeters of the adhesive protection film and place it on the deck.3.: Push it on until it sticks.4.: Get your wheel and roll it into the concave and features.5.: Get off the next few centimeters of the adhesive protection film.6.: Repeat Steps 3 to 5 until the sheet completely sticks to your deck.7.: Flip your deck and get the box cutter.8.: Cut the backside of the grip along the rail. Usually two times is enough. Make sure the box cutter is sharp.9.: Fold the grip towards the rail.10.: Fold it up and break it off super clean.11.:The final step is deburr the edges of the grip so only the backing is left so it can perfectly stick to the rails.12.: Skate your fresh gripped deck and never feel the need to apply new grip.I advice to not deburr the grip inside your living room, especially when your floor is easy to scratch!
