Rather than attaching bulky external shockmounts and pop filters, these accessories are built right into the microphone. Both the metal mesh grille and pop filter can be easily removed and cleaned as needed. DYNAMITE Mic Preamp The red push button on the back of the microphone controls the internal DYNAMITE preamp. When pressed in, the internal DYNAMITE preamp is active and provides +30 dB of additional gain, ideal for speech and softer sources. This requires +48V phantom power. When the switch is out, the internal DYNAMITE preamp is deactivated and the mic functions as a completely passive microphone not requiring phantom power. Gold-Plated Connectors To ensure loss-free, reliable signaling, the DCM6 features gold-plated male XLR connectors with superior thermal and electrical conductivity compared to other conductor materials. Wide Swivel Range Adapter This microphone includes a flexible stand adapter with a wide swivel range, making it easier to position the microphone for ideal sound and looks during a stream or content shoot. This adapter has been tested on numerous stands and booms for wide compatibility.
