SEA (beech). Acrylic paint, oil and wax. (23 cm wide x 23 cm tall). Another piece that was turned from a massive tree given to me by my father-in-law. Sea was supposed to be a holl ow form of no purpose except of looking beautiful in someone’s place. One day a friend called me and asked if he can check the urns I make for an animal crematorium. They are quite small to accommodate the ashes of dogs and other pets. When he saw them he said he needs something bigger. Many years ago his dog died and he decided to make his own cremation ceremony. Thus the ash was not as fine as the one you would get from the crematorium and there was more of it as some of the bones were not completely burned. So I showed him bigger vessels which I planned to finish and he chose Sea. I really like this piece and I love the purpose it’s going to serve. SEA (buk). Acrylic paint, oil and wax. (23 cm široká x 23 cm vysoká). Další nádoba vytvořená z masivního buku, který jsem dostal od táty mé partnerky. Sea měla mít jediný účel a to zkrášlit interiér svého nového majitele. Jednoho dne mi zavolal kamarád a zeptal se, jestli by si mohl přijet prohlídnout urny, které dělám pro zvířecí krematorium Věčná Loviště. Když urny viděl řekl, že potřebuje něco většího. Před mnoha lety mu zemřel pes a on pro něj sám udělal kremační ceremonii. Popelu tak bylo mnohem více a zůstali v něm kousky kostí, které se nespálily. Proto potřeboval větší nádobu, do které by se všechny ostatky vešly. Ukázal jsem mu tedy nádoby, které jsem plánoval dokončit a on si vybral právě Sea. Tuhle nádobu mám skutečně rád a jsem šťastný, že bude sloužit takovému důstojnému účelu. Show more
