Wipe down or air dry in the sun before packing away. Never Use Bleach Never use bleach, even in mild concentrations — bleach damages the polyurethane coating and nylon fabric. Never Pour Boiling Water In Never pour boiling water into the sink — water hotter than 60°C / 140°F will likely damage the seam tape. If you need hot dishwater, mix boiling water with cold water in a separate pot until it's at or below 60°C, then pour into the sink. Repair Punctures with Gear Aid Seam Grip The bucket is made from very durable fabric, but if a pinhole puncture occurs (sharp stick, rock, dropped cookware), it can be repaired using Gear Aid Seam Grip + WP. Apply to the inside of the sink, let cure 24 hours, and you're back in business — no need to replace the whole sink. Store Dry & Clean Always store the sink completely dry and clean — trapped moisture leads to mildew, mold, and a sour smell that transfers to other gear in your pack. Wipe down the interior and let air-dry in the sun for 10 minutes after the last rinse.
