Seachem Equilibrium is a mineral supplement designed to raise and maintain the general hardness (GH) of water, particularly in planted aquariums where reverse osmosis (RO) water or soft water is used. It provides essential minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium, that promote healthy plant growth and maintain the proper balance of electrolytes for fish.Key Benefits: Restores Mineral Balance: It replenishes essential minerals that are often lacking in RO or deionized water, ensuring proper growth for plants and maintaining fish health. Promotes Plant Growth: Seachem Equilibrium is specially formulated for planted tanks, providing nutrients like potassium, which is vital for photosynthesis and healthy plant development. Safe for Aquatic Life: Unlike some water conditioning products, Equilibrium is free of sodium and chloride, making it safe for use in sensitive environments.Dosage and How to Use: Dosage: Use 16 g (1 tablespoon) for every 80 liters of water to raise the GH by about 3 dGH. Application: Dissolve the powder in a small amount of aquarium water before adding it to the tank. It is best to add when performing water changes to maintain consistent hardness levels. This product is ideal for aquarists using RO water or in naturally soft water areas, as it ensures the aquarium remains mineral-rich, supporting both plant growth and fish health.
