Each cap thread is approximately 1 ml for smaller doses. Prime can be added directly to the aquarium, but it is best added to new water before filling. If adding directly to the aquarium, dose for the full aquarium volume. A sulfur odor is normal. A double dose may be used for exceptionally high chloramine concentrations. To detoxify nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is above 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose.
